What services do you offer that can help me become an author and build an empire?
I have a free newsletter and provide almost daily content on writing, publishing, and marketing books, as well as creating additional income streams, mindset, and more. There’s also the option for the once per week newsletter called the Saturday Recap.
There are courses to help you write & publish, market, and monetize your books, and more.
I host the Empire Builders Mastermind.
I host VIP Days for aspiring authors and course creators.
I also have a bespoke done-for-you nonfiction book publishing service.
Are you a ghostwriter?
Actually, no. I handle all of the other aspects of publishing and indie (independent / self-publishing) publishing is my jam.
But I do recommend several incredible ghostwriters here. Alice Sullivan (Alice Sullivan); Kent Sanders (Kent Sanders); plus add to the list Dan Clements, Jen Lill-Brown, and Andrea Williams.
Will you write my Foreword or endorse my book?
I charge $10,000 to write a Foreword ($5,000 is a nonrefundable deposit to cover reading time). This fee covers, in addition to reading time, the time I’ll need to get to know you, learn about your business, etc.
I only endorse books when I know the book and the author very well. You know who you are.
How do you mentor authors and aspiring authors?
I help aspiring authors with my course, Publishing Ph.D. I also help authors sell more books with Book Marketing Mastery, and turn their book content plus their other experience and knowledge into multiple income streams in Building a Million Dollar Book Business. If you want full access to me, consider joining the Empire Builders Mastermind.
Honorée, what’s an empire?
An empire as I define it is: a business or businesses consisting of multiple six- and seven-figure income streams.
If I send you my book, will you read and review it?
Unfortunately, my schedule does not permit me to do this.
Do you have a list of recommendations for editors, copywriters, graphic designers, and other folks?
Of course! You can find it right here.
Do you write full time?
I could. While I make enough from my book sales and royalties to live on, I’m still enjoying building my empire and have several businesses with many streams of income. I’m always writing a nonfiction book (you can join my Review Crew here to find out what’s coming up next and have the opportunity to read early editions in exchange for an honest review) and I’m working on fiction.
What is your daily schedule?
I write for an hour every morning (6-7 a.m.), preceded by meditation, journaling, and reading, and followed by a workout. I’m back at my desk by around 8:30 a.m. and then more fun ensues. On any given day, I’m recording a podcast interview or videos for whichever course I’m creating or the Empire Builders MasterClass, helping one of the members of the Empire Builder Mastermind, working on a client’s book, having lunch or coffee with someone awesome, answering email, on social media . . . the list is endless, and it’s all so much fun!
What are your favorite things?
In no particular order: candles, stationery, tea, and books. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention dark chocolate. I’m more of a “quality time and experience” person, rather than a “thing” person.
My question wasn’t on here.
