About Honorée Corder

My Story

Hi! I’m Honoree Corder, author, publishing consultant, TEDx speaker, Founder of Indie Author University and co-founder of the Empire Builders MasterClass. I’ve published more than 60 books, and helped hundreds of professionals and entrepreneurs successfully craft, write, publish, launch, market, and monetize their books.

I started my career in direct sales before beginning my work as a business and executive coach. I expanded into keynote and motivational speeches and corporate training before I discovered one of my true loves: writing books and helping others write (publish and monetize) theirs.

My work now includes helping others design and build an empire that provides time and financial freedom, all centered around their expertise, experience, and education (more about that here).

I also work with business professionals who want to write a book to boost their brand, get more business, and become the go-to expert, and turn that book into multiple streams of income. In short, they want to publish a book and use it to develop new clients. And they don’t want to figure out how to do it on their own. If this is you, keep reading!

Feedback & Reviews

I work with the most incredible human beings on the planet. Here’s what some of them have had to say about working with me:

“I went to Honorée because I heard she was the best Strategic Book Consultant in the world. She pivoted me away from traditional publishing (more $$ for me!), introduced me to a fabulous artist, a world class editor, and even helped me get on three major podcasts! Superb work, best in the world indeed…”

“Whomever said ‘jack of all trades, master of none’ never met Honorée Corder. Honorée has an extraordinary level of mastery in all aspects of writing, publishing, and promoting books. In fact, my decision to partner with Honorée on The Miracle Morning Book Series has been one of the best (and most profitable) decisions I’ve ever made. If you want your book to not only become a bestseller, but to make a life-changing IMPACT for your readers and generate a life-changing INCOME for you and your family, there is no one better to work with than Honorée Corder.”

FAQs

Which of your books should I read first?

I’m going to give the lawyer answer (no, I’m not an attorney, but I’m a super fan of a few): it depends.

If you want to:

(You’ll also find all of my books here.)

What services do you offer that can help me become an author and build an empire?

I have a free newsletter and provide almost daily content on writing, publishing, and marketing books, as well as creating additional income streams, mindset, and more. There’s also the option for the once per week newsletter called the Saturday Recap.

There are courses to help you write & publish, market, and monetize your books, and more.

I host the Empire Builders Mastermind.

I host VIP Days for aspiring authors and course creators.

I also have a bespoke done-for-you nonfiction book publishing service.

Are you a ghostwriter?

Actually, no. I handle all of the other aspects of publishing and indie (independent / self-publishing) publishing is my jam.

But I do recommend several incredible ghostwriters here. Alice Sullivan (Alice Sullivan); Kent Sanders (Kent Sanders); plus add to the list Dan Clements, Jen Lill-Brown, and Andrea Williams.

Will you write my Foreword or endorse my book?

I charge $10,000 to write a Foreword ($5,000 is a nonrefundable deposit to cover reading time). This fee covers, in addition to reading time, the time I’ll need to get to know you, learn about your business, etc.

I only endorse books when I know the book and the author very well. You know who you are.

How do you mentor authors and aspiring authors?

I help aspiring authors with my course, Publishing Ph.D. I also help authors sell more books with Book Marketing Mastery, and turn their book content plus their other experience and knowledge into multiple income streams in Building a Million Dollar Book Business.

Honorée, what’s an empire?

An empire as I define it is: a business or businesses consisting of multiple six- and seven-figure income streams.

If I send you my book, will you read and review it?

Unfortunately, my schedule does not permit me to do this.

Do you have a list of recommendations for editors, copywriters, graphic designers, and other folks?

Of course! You can find it right here.

Do you write full time?

I could. While I make enough from my book sales and royalties to live on, I’m still enjoying building my empire and have several businesses with many streams of income. I’m always writing a nonfiction book (you can join my Review Crew here to find out what’s coming up next and have the opportunity to read early editions in exchange for an honest review) and I’m working on fiction.

What is your daily schedule?

I write for an hour every morning (6-7 a.m.), preceded by meditation, journaling, and reading, and followed by a workout. I’m back at my desk by around 8:30 a.m. and then more fun ensues. On any given day, I’m recording a podcast interview or videos for whichever course I’m creating or the Empire Builders MasterClass, helping one of the members of the Empire Builder Mastermind, working on a client’s book, having lunch or coffee with someone awesome, answering email, on social media . . . the list is endless, and it’s all so much fun!

What are your favorite things?

In no particular order: candles, stationery, tea, and books. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention dark chocolate. I’m more of a “quality time and experience” person, rather than a “thing” person.

 My question wasn’t on here.
